Sous Chef
Having been in the culinary industry since 1998, Chef Ramon has worked at The Cascades since 2002 as the Sous Chef. Ramon started his culinary journey at Sunnyside High School running their Diablo Café. From there he continued his culinary education at Pima Community College. Thus, bringing him to The Cascades working with many residents and their families. Ramon is a Tucson native from a family of three children. His family likes to make tamales together around the holidays. This great Hispanic tradition started from his grandmother which they carry on. Ramon has expanded his culinary knowledge over the years with many different styles of cooking. This is what makes him an asset to our team in the Dining Services Department at The Cascades.
