Assistant Director of Health Services
Growing up, Britney Thompson had two goals: to be a passionate nurse and to raise a loving family.
Britney’s journey into the medical field began with her determination to achieve her childhood dreams. In 2007, while still in high school, she took the first step by becoming a certified nursing assistant. This role allowed her to gain invaluable experience working closely with healthcare professionals. Her dedication and eagerness to learn were evident as she balanced long hours at the hospital while attending nursing school studies.
By 2015, Britney had successfully completed her nursing education and achieved her goal of becoming a nurse. Over the past decade, she has built a reputation for her expertise and compassionate care. Her experience as a wound care director before joining Cascades highlights her specialization in wound care and healing. Britney’s work extended beyond hospital settings, as she provided care within communities and within patients’ homes through home health services.
In 2018, Britney married her best friend Jeremiah Thompson, together they collectively have ten children. Thus, accomplishing her second goal of creating a loving and supportive family environment. Outside of work Britney enjoys spending time and making memories with her husband and children.
